Amber and Justin- June 1, 2008

On June 1st traveled to Saint Simon's Island for a wedding, but this time I was not the main photographer. This weekend I worked as a second shooter for Tallahassee wedding photographer Mary Beth Tyson. As a second shooter your job is to shoot from a different angle as the main photographer, concentrate on details, and candid shots. This was my first time working as a second shooter and I really enjoyed it. The wedding party dressed and prepared for the ceremony at the Sea Island Golf Club. It is a really beautiful place. Here are a few of my shots from the day. Enjoy!

Amber was such a beautiful bride.

Here are a few of those detail shots I mentioned.

The ceremony was held at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Brunswick. It was a very beautiful old church with huge stained glass windows. I loved architecture inside of this church.

Amber's parents were also married at St. Mark's.

After the ceremony we headed back to the Sea Island Golf Club for wedding party photos under the oaks. Justin and Amber were so happy.

Mary Beth- I had a great time shooting with you! Thanks again for having me!

I have only 2nd shot a couple of times, but it is so much fun having the freedom to just go after creative shots! I love the shot of the bridesmaids shoes/flowers!
